When I saw the post on FB Saturday afternoon, I thought I misread the post. But when I realized that it was real, my heart sunk. Our little cousin that we grew up with, the youngest of the bunch, is gone. From the day he was born, the four cousins were inseparable until we moved to the U.S. I am lost for words for his sudden passing.
My heart is broken because he was taken away from us way too soon.
Our thoughts and prayers are with my uncle, my aunt and my cousin. R.I.P. until we meet again🥲
As everyone here are sharing a piece of memory of Goo-Shun Wang, the last time we saw each other was when he was still living in Brooklyn, NY.
My family had went up to NY for a short visit and met up with Goo-Shun, and auntie Rachel Chen .We met at a Japanese restaurant, recommended by Goo—Shun, because he is s such a foodie., of course.
We had a great time reminiscing the good old days as kids growing up. As all of you know, Goo-Shun knows just about everything and some bizarre ones too. He told me, “ To calculate how long it takes to walk from pint A to point B in downtown Manhattan is to count the number of blocks. If it’s adult waking it’s approximately 3 minutes per block and if it’s adult with kids, it’s 5 minutes per block.””
Now tell me, where can you learn an interesting fact like that.
